Using .attachments.add to attach an excel file to an outlook email

We have a file that creates a new outlook email to send to a specific email address and attach an excel file to the email - This was working a few months ago with no issues our code is using basic .attachments.add line to do this. When we get our outlook message with the attachment to pop up the To;CC; Subject lines go funky and you are not able to press the Send button. You are able to use the Alt+s short key to send the email but not able to edit the to cc subject lines within the email itself. Any idea what could fix this?

My file is complicated so I created a file with the same concept of the code and it does cause the same issue as my other file. The code was taken off a website for a fast test.

I tried your file on three different machines, and I was unable to duplicate the error you posted (hence the code worked perfectly.)
Did you try is on another machine?

We have had users that do not have the issue and we have users that do. It will work one moment then the next it is not working again. I just started having the issue today and trying to see if there was any updates that are corresponding but nothing is coming up as the same issue but I have seen some of the updates working with attachments so I am leaning toward an update but was hoping someone knew another way to code this to around the Microsoft update that maybe broke this line of code? I have been working in IT for many years (too long); and I had my moments addressing MS updates bugs where some systems stopped performing a regular task, while others experience no issues. My recommendation would be to address this issue with your IT personnel to see if there were any recent updates, then work your way backwards from there.

They are part of the reason I posted the question - they are not helping they blame the code which doesnt make sense if it works here and there and has worked for over 10ish years then one day all of a sudden the code is broke? Besides the fact that we are using VBA for a document that has no business on being in excel we just have to peice to gether fixes as they come up and everytime this comes up I have to figure it out to tell our IT department how to fix.
