Splitting Continuous Text Into Two Cells Using Uppercase Letter As Delimiter

Hi there, i have the following situation. I have some names (see picture). First name should always go into column C, Last name into column B. As seen from the picture it does not always work the way intended. Thus I need a VBA code (sub function) to split those names (i.e MenkeRobert) into First name and last name again whereas the last name needs to be in Column B and the First name in column C again =). Indicator when to split the string is the Capital letter.

Hope you guys can help me

    Thank you in advance

    Issi

    Hello Issi91,

What do you want to happen if the Nachname is Ebert Jansen and the Vorname are Jorg Sasha Gunther.

    Please attach a sample workbook.

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need.

Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Regards.

    Issi,

If your example is a perfect representation of the situation, and assuming the data starts at row 4 as described in the picture (we don't like pictures.. workbooks are better), then this may work for you:

Hi, thanks for the swift reply. Since there is no popup opening on clicking on the attachment icon in advanced i have uploaded the file on google drive - i hope its allowed =).

The name should only be split if Column B is empty (and the full name is glitched into column C).

@Arkadi - I have tested your code, but not all glitched names are splitted - have a test =)

If this is not how you wanted, need to see your exact result in the workbook.
