trim to match two sets of input-trim spaces around a character

I am trying to search a database that uses entries "12 - 151C4993" in one format with a validated comboBox I must use and these entries are "151 C 4993" - (two sections of the company with different tenets)

The ComboBox entry that will be my search value will be "151 C 4993". I was trying to use Trim to tidy the comboBox entry in the search macro before matching and need to remove the spaces either side of the character

The result I expected was "151" what I got was "151 C"
Any ideas on a methodology to match these
