    VBA dependent on drop-down list

Hi, I'm working on a contract and need some help with VBA code. I've made a drop down list that lists 1, 2, 3, and 4 which will determine how many fields need to be filled out, so for example if I choose 1, I want to find a way to delete and lock the contents of cells 2-4. If I choose 3, I want to find a way to delete and lock the contents of cell 4. Any help you can offer with this is appreciated!

Can you attach a sample workbook with the dropdown(s) that you have and how you have them setup? It would be easier to write the code for you for some of us.

You don't have to add Rep if I have helped you out (but it would be nice), but please mark the thread as SOLVED if your issue is resolved.

Re: VBA dependent on drop-down list

I'm unable to include the full contract but I've attached a rough idea of the cells I'll be working with. As you can see when I select a status it will autofill the accounting information. What I would like to have happen when I select the number of accounts is for the autofilled info to be deleted and the cells locked in the necessary spots. So if I select "1" as number of accounts then cells 13C:15C should be deleted and locked. I hope that this helps a bit, I know my explanation isn't the greatest. (Alternatively if you have a better idea on how to handle this any recommendations are appreciated! I'm very new to this)
