Help needed with pop-up notifications

In short I have a change log for a platform on which are working three different team, only 1 team per day. I would like to put a notification msg pop-up whenever any of the group do change. I was wondering can the due date notification code could be altered. I was considering make a number fields for each day with 0 or 1 with formula related if 1 change notification ON. Can someone assist me with the formula because my skills at this area are pathetic.
