I am starting a new position that will require me to open the workbook, checkbox some variables, save the print area as pdf, and name it using the employee name and number.
I have created a basic save as macro that does all the above except the employee name/number.
In a non-printing part of the worksheet I have a concantenate cell that pulls the employee name a dash and his or her number and the .pdf extension. I figured I would copy that cell, run the macro, and paste that into the filename dialog box. One control v later and I found that it won't do that.
Is there a vba command to put the clipboard contents into the filename dialog box?
The relevent part of my code as it was put out by the macro. The path has been edited.
The macro recorder captured where I manually typed in "export". At that spot I'd like to paste the clipboard contents.
Thanks in advance
