VBA - Restrict Cells to Certain Users and Macros

Hi All,

I am trying to lock down a range of cells on a certain sheet to only allow certain users, or VBA triggered by anyone clicking a button, to update them. Do you know if this is possible without having to share a password which I would prefer to avoid?. I am trying to make it transparent to those users that are permitted to edit the sheet. I will know their Excel Application User Names.

Range in question is A1:H13

Excel is not a secure environment so any protection you put in place is likely to be fragile.

You might want to investigate Review tab | Allow Users to Edit Ranges
