Convert Long Rows into Compact Table

I have data in 300 long rows. I wish to compact it into a table format for presentation purposes. Cut and paste will take too long. The attachment shows the basic idea of what I am trying to do (I have shortened the rows for purposes of example). I have tried creating a macro involving a do loop, but my knowledge of basics is rusty, and I can't get it to work. I would appreciate some formulas. Thank you.

Thank you, Special-k. As I understand your response, I should name the spreadsheet with the data "Sheet 1". I should have another spreadsheet in the workbook named "Sheet 3". I should enter the macro on Sheet 1. Is that correct?

You can tell by now that I am not familiar with macro's at this point. I get an error message, and when I press debug, this is highlighted: Lastrow = Worksheets("Sheet1").Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row
