Freezing Worksheet Tabs: Possible with VBA?

    Hi,

I have an Excel document that has over 100 tabs at the bottom. There are two tabs that I need to have quick access to and the others would be changed less frequently.

Is there a way I can freeze the first two tabs as you can when you freeze panes?

It's not a major issue in all honesty but would make life easier!

    Many thanks in advance.

    Steve

    Re: Freezing Tabs

What do you mean by 'freeze'? If you mean keep the first two tabs visible whilst you scroll across to see others, then no, it's not possible natively. I do not know if it can be done with VBA.

    Hi AliGW,

Yes that's what I am after.

It's a shame. it would make things a little easier.

    Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know if it is possible with VBA?

Sorry, I didn't realise it would go in another section.

If you could that would be really helpful! THANK YOU!

Could you not just have a macro to take you to the required sheet?

I have just recorded the macro below, if I press "Ctrl+Shift+A" it takes me to the sheet named "343" which happens to be my first sheet.

I hope this is of some use.
