I am having problems with removing the contents of a cell and shifting the data up. The team alignment tab has different teams listed on it. When I delete a team member I want the cells in the team alignment tab to shift up and the empty cells to shift down. Currently when I delete the cell and shift up it deletes the cell and that causes an issue with the integrity of the team alignment sheet by deleting the empty cell. Also when I delete the cell and shift up the corresponding team tabs replaces the deleted team members name with, "ref" and it doesn't shift up. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a dummy when it comes to excel and haven't taken a course since 2006.
