Trying to copy a Name Range over

I copy a worksheet to about ten other workbooks and on my worksheet there are named ranges but those are not copying over. How do i have that copy over as well?

How are the named ranges defined, in particular what scope do they have?

Not sure what you are asking. I can go into Name Manager and there is a Name and then it refers to those 10 cells. I've added a workbook. I stripped everything else out except for the one named range.

You aren't copying a worksheet, just copying the ranges, so you would have to recreate the names in the target workbooks.

So I would have to copy the actual worksheet, no amount of copying the contents will do it?

Re: Trying to copy a Name Range over

OK. Is there a way to create a named range then? Say I want to make ''A1:A20" named "School Teachers"
