    Automation error

    Hello, I'm having this error when running a code: run-time error ‘2147417848 (80010108)’: Automation error: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.

    I have used the following macro in numerous workbooks for several years without a problem, then last week I get the run-time error in every file and in each file none of data to be sorted is attached to another file nor web query.

    The macro stops and displays the error at the third code line.

    I ran the Control Panel – Programs – Fix and Repair app and the problem continues.

    I would definitely appreciate any help or guidance for fixing this error.

    Being new to being a member of a forum and ironically trying to get my problem resolved quickly, I was and still am anxious, I overlooked the “Want to get your question answered quickly?” section of the forum rules. Therefore I am attaching a file that I use to work through problems that I encounter.
    As with all my issues I name the current sheet that I am working on “TestThis.”

    While I have not learned, and still want to, why the original code is creating errors I did find several work around solutions at: stackoverflow.com
