Copy and Paste after value is entered in a cell

    Hi Everyone,

I am pretty new to VBA, I know somewhat what to do and I can follow the code I just struggle getting it right.

I have a spread sheet with multiple lines of information. Each line has a lot number and then a weight for that lot.

I have a column named shipped, so when we ship a weight is entered in that cell, I then want to paste another row under where the new weight will be calculated from the initial weight minus the shipped weight. There will also be a few more items. What I am wondering is if I can have a "template" row which I will copy and paste into the location I want. In this "Template" row I could have the formulas etc that will do the calculations etc.

    TIA

Can you mock-up and attach a sample showing what you are trying to achieve.

Go Advanced -> Manage Attachments -> Upload

    Please see in the attachment.

Essentially we can load into our warehouse multiple lots for the same batch or sometimes just one lot for one batch.

In the first row you can see we loaded one lot for one batch however in the second and third we loaded multiple lots.

Over in the weight dispatched column we will enter a weight as we dispatch from that batch. I want this to then populate the row below with the new total weight which is the old total weight less the weight dispatched.
In the Plasma Received Date Column I want to enter the numbers of rows we have Lots for as I have said some will be 1 row 2 rows then maybe 3 rows. When a weight is entered in the dispatched column I want to essentially add a row below so this can be entered again.

I think this make some sense??

I was trying to do an xlshift down etc, and this works, however with the items in the Plasma Received Date column this can get a little messy??
