Need VBA to auto select first item in drop down list which uses Index Match

I have seen other threads solve this issue when it’s a simple data validation based of a list but have not found any coding which will work when the data validation refers to a name range which in turn refers to an indexed table.
Below is the code I've tried to use but receive a run-time error 1004:"Method Range of object Global Failed".
Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
I have attached my file for reference.
