    Changing Status based on text

    Hi,
    I need a macro which will based on collection names automatically put New or Add Option in Column B from Column A:

    1. For Any same name collection name if any of the collection name say -Live in the end it should populate add option in column B
    2. If none of the collection names say -Live it should populate New Item.

    Please see attached for sample sheet, There are 2 collection names one is Fred and one is Solenne
    Fred should say Add Option since -Live in the end of some have -Live
    Solenne should say New Item since none ending with -Live exist.

    In the sample sheet Solenne also does say -Live from what I see? But I do see many other names don't have Live in them. One follow up question... Lets say there are 10 Fred listings, and half say Live, and the others not, do ALL Fred listings get "Add Option" in col B?

    Dear,

    "Solenne should say New Item since none ending with -Live exist." Please reconfirm your statement. If I understand you correctly , the statement seems to be typo. There are many records of Solenne which end with "Live"

    I am sorry for the error, Its the opposite Fred should be add option and solenne should be Live. Good catch!

    Hi Arkadi,
    Yes, If at least 1 of the same collection name says Live then they are all Add Options, If Non say Live then its a New Item.

    Hi Eslam,
    Why is it showing live on some options and Waldorf should be Add Option since there is already live ones there.

    There only needs to be 2 options NEW ITEM OR LIVE.

    Hi Eslam,
    Why is it copying the same item name near it? It should only say Live or New Item.
    For Collection Names that show none as Live it should say NEW ITEM and for collection names that have at least 1 -Live in end should say add option.
