    Allow macro in shared workbook

    Hi,

    I have made this macro, so you can unprotect and protect the sheet by clicking on a box.
    But the issue is, that the workbook is a shared file, so the macro's doesn't work.

    any ideas?
    Feel free to make alternative solution if the one i have made can be done better

    Good morning MetteGaga

    You can run macros from a shared workbook. You just can't edit or record them - the code is not accessible.
    Could there be something else with your workbook that is stopping it from running. Does it not work on all devices? What happens when you click the button? I'm assuming that macros are always enabled?

    @Dominic,

    You can't alter protection in a shared workbook, so the macro won't work.
