Auto copy formulas to new row and lock cells

Hello All around the world,

I want to do:

1. copy the formulas from the previous row down when someone types into the SI Number column
2. lock the B and C column so it populates from the formula but some can't delete it or change it.

Thank you, I'll pass it along. Can you help with the my issue posted. I'm trying to make a simple "check out" form so people who take the gage have to log it out and in. A better calibration work sheet, like yours, is next.

The status should be determined if the item is checked out on the sign out sheet. Maybe it remains available until there is a date in the check out and no date in the check back in.

Then the status on the Thread Rings sheet is filled from there?
