The goal would be a spreadsheet where I could type people's names in a row and then have dates of the month populated in columns, then the spreadsheet would look on my outlook exchange server from work to retrieve their free/busy information, particularly if they had "away" status loaded for certain days or not. Is this possible to do dynamically, rather then just exporting/importing between outlook?

Background: Multiple groups and project teams manually populate their vacation plans in excel so managers can quickly see what gaps are in their teams over the holidays. They also populate their outlook calendars, but managers find that viewing outlook calendar for a lot of people and/or days at once is difficult, so the excel view is preferred. Much time could be saved if the excel calendar could be updated automatically from outlook server.

I can probably figure out most of it if someone can share some code to interface with my outlook? Should I cross-post in outlook forum?
