Connect ORACLE
Hi All,
I have built a macro to connect Oracle DB and fetch the records and this excel is configured in schedule task.
Its working fine in my system and have Oracle client installed, but same is not able to run in my friend system as I see Oracle client is not installed.
Is there any way to run this without Oracle client installed?
Pls suggest TIA.
I wonder how you are fetching the data from Oracle... either just using an ODBC driver or a DSN... which may be configured as part of the client installation. I imagine an ODBC driver can be downloaded from Oracle, but have never interacted with Oracle myself. If you get the driver (and configure a DSN if needed) on the other system, then you should be able to run the code without the need for the Oracle client.
