Creating static formatted report from imported data

    Hi all

I'm hoping one of you can help me. i run a boat cruise business and the COTS booking software i use does not provide the reporting I need to create the cruise manifest. Each cruise has a manifest, there can be 10 cruises each week with up to 50 customer bookings (information set on a row) per manifest.

The current process is to copy and paste the data into Excel and run a macro to format. This would work well IF there were the same amount of data sets per cruise. Unfortunately since each cruise varies I must invoke the macro and then continue to format manually. This is extremely time consuming and introduces increased margin for error.

Is there a way to create a "template" that can be filled with data when the raw data is pasted into a separate worksheet? There are no mathematical equations required, it is simply a formatting exercise.

I have attached a sample of the data and the finished manifest I am tryng to create. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Carol

    Welcome to the Forum

You should be able to amend the Macro you've got to be dynamic and then you won't need to worry about how much data there is? - If you need help with that then post back and I'm sure one of us will be able to help there.

If you do want a template then I've cobbled together something from the Worksheets you provided and attached it.

The cells I coloured in Blue I wasn't sure how to get that from the example data, I've not had a lot of time to look at though so I might be missing something?
