In relation to this thread,and thanks to Richard for his help, I have also posted in the formula section, but maybe a variation of the vba in this example would do the trick? As per the screenshot, if users follow my rules, and enter the new hose right after the failed hose, all is good, but I know someone is going to do a list, then want to put the new hose further down. So, if someone with more knowledge in vba could modify this to copy the first row above that says "Fail"? Maybe that would work better than just copying the row above?
