    Run-time Error 75

This is weird (to me); i will be posting to FireFox forums also.

In one area of my code i am moving a folder and all of its contents to a new folder. The code i use is simply

I kept getting an error 75 and trying to find out why, i looked at the folder represented by strOrigPath with a program called LockHunter. Besides Excel, there were about five FireFox entries locking my folder. When i released each of them (Not the Excel entry), the line of code worked fine.

Anyone have a good idea why FireFox is taking hold of a directory i am working with in Excel?

As a note, i completely wiped FireFox from my computer a couple days ago (including the hidden folders in \AppData\), as much as i could find, and reinstalled from Mozilla.

In trying to recall any possible interaction between FireFox and the particular folder, i recall that i had printed a screenshot from FireShot in FireFox to that folder. Certain credit reports were also printed to that folder that were accessed through FireFox at the credit agency's website. I will try each previous interaction and attempt to define if one of those actions creates the locks. Aside from this, any and all thoughts are welcome; i seem to be naturally paranoid, but when dealing with confidential information, even more so...

If these locks are the result of poor coding on the part of Mozilla, FireShot or the credit agency i use, can anyone with coding expertise suggest a VBA means to specifically release any and all locks on a folder imposed by FireFox?

I don't want to bias your input, but frankly, i am feeling a bit paranoid.

Thank-you for all and an thoughts!

It's not a pretty solution, but you can try killing all firefox (or other offending) processes before running your code
