    ActiveSheet keyword needed?

Both of these give the same result. ANy reason to use one over the other? Apparently, ActiveSheet is the default value when one isn't provided.

    Re: ActiveSheet keyword needed?

It depends where the code is. If it is in a worksheet module, then the latter will refer to the sheet containing the code, whether it's the active one or not. Anywhere else, the two are equivalent. In my opinion, it's better to be specific.
