Invalid Property Value For No Reason

    Hi,

A combobox in my userform is set to a list from a table in a worksheet. The value are simple numbers 1 to 10. The combobox is set to match required. When I type in a number that is 1 to 10 in the combobox , I get the error Invalid Property Value. Its only when I select from the drop down that I'm allowed to proceed. How can I set it to accept a value that is equal to one of the values in its list when its typed in instead of selecting? Seems like a silly error to have...

    Thanks.

    Luke

    Hi Luke,

I'd look at your validation list and see if they are numbers or Text that looks like numbers. If you are taking your validation list from a range of cells, make sure the range is the correct format. Also, make sure there are no spaces in front or behind your validation numbers/text as that might also be throwing the error.

    Hi Marv,

Thanks for the input. I tried both of your suggestions and it did not work. I set my table to number format, and made sure there are no erroneous spaces. I'm still getting the error message. I also tried setting the table format to text in case the userform interprets the input as text. Still no luck.
