My Friend has a company that makes stair treads. They need a solution for tracking their orders. Please help or offer solutions to how to achieve the desired outcome.
They need to be able to track specific ask throughout the production process. I have created an icon for Start, Pause, and Stop. We want to keep up with the time it takes to complete the task per item. I also need to duplicate the row items every time we have a purchase order comes in. We can download a document from Google that gives us certain information about the product but word prefers to link to the Google Sheet and have it add the Purchase Order as they come in. Throughout the day we receive orders that we need to add to the system and then be able to sort the items so we can produce the product at the same time while we are in that particular component. The timers need to show time when they are running.
An example is below:
A customer goes to the online store and makes a purchase for a certain type of stair tread. Once the order is completed it sends a notification to us. once received, we need to be able to import the order. Once the order is received, we need to be able to track its process through production. Throughout the day we are cutting different types of Wood Grades, Maple, Walnut, Oak, etc. At any time we need to check the orders that have been added and sort them to be able to cut those specific materials while in that wood."
Is there a way to automatically add orders as they come into the web store? If so how.
Is there a way this can work in a Google Sheet so that more than one person can be working on it at a time?
