Macro for displaying Pivot Table Detail

Hi All,

I am not too familiar with Macros and have only ever used for very basic functions so apologies if this is indeed basic!

I am currently just trying to setup a Macro that will display the details behind a pivot table instead of right clicking and selecting "show details" from the Grand Total line. The only trouble is that the Grand Total line will move as and when a user selects other parameters from the slicers within the pivot and so how can you get the macro to in effect follow that cell?

The basic version without the movement of the cell would simply be as follows:

Range("B44").Select
Selection.ShowDetail = True

I can forward an example of what is required if needed, it will just take some editing owing to the confidential nature of the data!

Sorry just to add I would also like the details to show in a new workbook and not as a new sheet within the existing workbook,
