VB to delete range in rows based on value of cell

Hello all,

I am new to writing and learning macros and am stumbling through them. I have tried several variations of code to try and get something to work but have not yet found one that I can edit and use.

What I am trying to do is the following:

If the information in column A of a particular row (between rows 5 and 38) is blank then I need to delete everything from column A through column E in that row and shift the cells below that up.

I am sure this is a fairly easy macro to write but I am not able to work my way through it yet.
