Avoid hitting check box by pressing tab/enter key

Hello all,
Is there anyway to avoid hitting the check boxes when I press the tab key or the enter key and still be able to click the check box? When I press the tab key it should only be hitting the cells "A1", "C3", "D1".

Everything is good except that I keep hitting the check box when I press the tab/enter key. Please help me to resolve this issue.

What happens when you LOCK the cells?
These aren't checkboxes but a cell with marlett font
