Excel 97 'Security'' tab not showing

Hello,

My program uses xl and needs to insert a toolbar and a module with the tb event handlers

The user must manually approve this by doing the following :

Excel | Tools | Macro | Security | Trusted Sources | Trust access to VB Project

This has been working flawlessly for years.

In March, my win xp / excel 97 pc died.

Now i have a new pc w\win 10 and there is no 'security button'

I am trying this xl 97 on 2 older xp machines, again , the security button is not visible.


In Stack overflow, there is a suggestion that an entry in the registry is causing this but I cannot find similar entry in win xp office8

Any help is appreciated
