How to use select a cell without the action showing on the sheet?

I'm using a very simple copy/paste macro. It works fine, but it constantly scrolls my screen up and down when copy and pasting the cells. My screen basically has a seizure for about 10 seconds. Is it possible to freeze the screen I'm looking at or having the macro run without changing the screen at all? This macro strains my eyes a bit whenever it runs.
