Look up a value from a table after matching a keyword

Hi

I am busy working with a template

I am trying to use the vlookup function but seem to miss something in my logic

On the attach file column G which a value has to be placed in when it matches the value Col F and checks a table for jockeys

G3 = will contain the value 3 which is obtain by looking at F3 "Osin Murphy and reads from the vlookup table Osin Murphy 3

Trust have made myself clear and thanx in advance for help received.

I tried copy some data into the file and ran the macro but its gives me a N/A error

any solution to this or am I doing something incorrect

Your names in column F have a space after them, which is why the vlookup is returning #N/A
