macro to find first filled cell

Hi I have an excel sheet where I need macro to find first filled cell.

For an example first cell with data is E10, i need a code to find cell E10 and go to next cell in next column (F10) and enter a value (any desired text).
Then again got to next cell i.e. G10 enter some text.

and make them fit to column. the propoerties of the text entered to be same as the first filled cell.

You need to be a bit clearer on your definitions,
For an example first cell with data is E10
    first cell relative to what?

Are we to assume that this means E10 is the top left cell of the data range, in as such that there is absolutely nothing in rows 1 to 9, or columns A to D, not even a single formula or heading.

Re: macro to find first filled cell

Given that you now have 2 threads on very similar subjects (finding the first cell with data), I'm going to flag this one as a duplicate.

Although this is the original thread the other has a more complex requirement, so in my opinion it would be better to leave that one active.

    Other thread https://www.excelforum.com/excel-pro...and-paste.html

This thread should not receive further replies unless a moderator disagrees with my assessment and removes this post.
