    how to resolve blank error

    Hi Team,
    Please see the attached file where I get the vlookup data in multiple columns and I have to sum all columns no.'s but I am facing a problem after vlookup (please refere Q6009 cells it seems blank but when you cursor down from Q column it stop in cell Q6009) that's why it shows error while I do sum of all cells (a6009, b6009 --- -- -q6009)

    please do let me how to resolve this type of issue

    Your attachment just shows a column of zeros in column A. You need to upload a proper example.

    Possibly you may have a conditional format in that cell?

    Delete the space in Q6009. The space isn't a issue if you use:

    =SUM(A2:Q2)

    copied down.

    Agreed but there is not one space it can be increase in any cells, is there any way to resolve for whole column / sheet in one way

    Glenn has given you the answer - use a SUM function rather than adding individual cells. SUM will ignore blanks, but the + operator will cause errors if you are trying to add strings (like " ").
