Filtering one sheet based off the data filtered in another sheet

    Hi,

I would like to be able to get data to be auto filtered in one of my worksheets (destination sheet) based off the values of 1 column in another sheet (data sheet) that has also been auto filtered.

I have in a macro in place the data sheet that filters data shown in another sheet, the sheet that the data sheet is using as its reference is not filtered, it is referencing from all of the rows. The code I am using for that is:

I have tried to adapt the code for the destination sheet how ever it is not filtering the values at all. Is there a different type of code that needs to be used since the data needs to be referenced only from the filtered values? The code I currently am working with is:

The range "ConrolID" is column "D" noted by =OFFSET('04_Control Applicability'!$D$1,0,0,COUNTA('04_Control Applicabiltiy'!$D:$D),1)

    Thank you for your help!!

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Attached below.

Currently - The selection in the 02_ tab drives the 03_ tab and that drives the auto filter on the 04_ tab.

Goal - I would like for the auto filtered selections on the 04_ tab to drive the auto filter on the 05_ tab via column D in 04_ and column A in 05_

pw for protected sheets is "abc"
