    How to prevent Dir() from opening a new window

    Hi There,

    I use Dir() to open a folder. However, it opens a new window (File Explorer) every time. Is there a way to just open a folder in one of the existing open window (File Explorer).

    Hi !

    As the Dir VBA function has nothing to do with a window ! Like you can check in the VBA help …
