Posting code

Hi , I'm new and want to ask a practical posting question.
I notice VBA code in boxes inside of posts. i want to post some code to ask questions about.
Are these inserted images or is there a button that I am missing that opens a window that you can post code into?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Posting code

Is the # button. Either that, or typing before your code [ CODE] and after it [ /CODE] without the spaces
Click the * to say thanks.

Re: Posting code

The note you get when you don't use them details how to.
There is also lots of other useful forum information in the FAQ section
https://www.excelforum.com/faq.php

Administrative Note:

Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however you need to include code tags around your code.

Please take a moment to add the tags. Posting code between

tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, and it also maintains VBA formatting.

Please see Forum Rule #2 about code tags and adjust accordingly. Click on Edit to open your post, then highlight your code and click the # icon at the top of your post window. More information about these and other tags can be found here

(Note: this change is not optional. No help to be offered until this moderation request has been fulfilled.)
Cheers
Andy
