How many textboxes can you have on one userform? Currently I have 15, when I attempt to add another I get a "Variable not defined" compile error. Is there a way around this?
Thanks,
Rmc

I have had hundreds before now.
I have just created 45 in a userform without any problem.Welcome to the forum
Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

If it is not important to you then it definitely is not important to me.
I'm hoping the attachment is there.
The main reason I need the extra textboxes is that the dtpicker1, 2 and 3 do not always remember the format assigned.
The code for UserForm4 has comments that when done will show you the working version and the non-working.
Thank you for your help.

No Attachment.
Edit your file. At the bottom select advance options and towards thebottom select Manage attachements,
That is what I did. I'll give it a go again.
Grasping at straws, why is the file saved as .xls ???
If you are using 360 save as .xlsm will give use of more memory.
Saved as .xls your computer probably only allocating 500mb (thinks it is 32bit).
As soon as you try to run there appears a massive memory grab.

@RmcSsb & Torachan
There is no such Excel product as Office 360. It is called Office 365 (days in a year), not 360 (degrees in a circle).
@RmcSsb - please update your forum profile to correct this. Thanks.
@Torachan - there should be no difference in overhead between files saved as .xlsm under Office 365 than any other version - why do you think there is? Also, files do not have to be saved in OneDrive folders if that is an issue.

Torachan:
I have reviewed all of my posts in this thread and I can't find ANY reference on my part to Office 360. The only place place I see such a reference is in your post, so ragging on me for a mistake I didn't make is kind of low.
Also, you didn't answer my question. The code is posted and userform4 is where the compiler errors out.
Respectively,
rmc
RmcSsb - your forum profile incorrectly states Office 360. Please change it. Thanks.
It has been changed. I'm sure this change in my profile is going to make a world of difference.
Thanks for the tip.
Maybe not, but it makes you look more savvy.
When I open your workbook, I get an error message saying that objects needed are not available on my machine - does your code require access to things in other workbooks?
I did not say there was any difference in overhead when saving .xlsm in any version of windows.
What I did say is .xls is limited in comparison to .xlsm (by about 12 fold).
Anyone that has used large sheets with .xls will find themselves memory limited to 65,000 rows if the are lucky compared to 1m with .xlsm.
However there appears to be more at issue beyond just the number of textboxes.
Developer > Tools > References at least three libraries missing.
torachan.
Thanks for the clarification, but I was referring to the version of Excel, not Windows. You said this:
This implied (to me) that you were suggesting that .xlsm files saved via Excel 365 would be 'heavier' than those saved in other versions. It seems I misunderstood - sorry. If you are using 360 (sic) save as .xlsm will give use of more memory.
Yes, I have used several reference libraries in this workbook. I've attached a picture with all of them shown.

365 does not support the DatePicker.
Remove all the Datepickers and your Userforms should open.
mehmetcik,
I've attached a capture showing the dtpicker and that when selected adds it to the tool box. This is where I got it from. Everything is fine until I attempt to add the 16th textbox.
What I will do is copy the workbook and remove all references to the dtpicker and see what happens.

Rmc
Is a particular line highlighted when you get the error?
Remember what the dormouse said

Okay folks, give me a rubber stamp with black ink saying "STUPID." All I had to do to and the 16th textbox was to reference the correct form.
Once I did that everything worked as advertised.
I do apologize for the false alarm and thank you all for the research that you all did.
Thank you and best regards,
Rmc
P.S. Now if I could only find the button to close or mark "Resolved" I would do it.
LOL!!!
