    Memory Issue

Good Afternoon - I have a spreadsheet that is not too confusing or "intelligent" however, it's 6.5MB because it seems like there are rows and/or columns that have info in them that I can't see.

I've looked this up and tried to do the ActiveSheet.Usedrange, but it only highlights the entire book where info is placed. This goes to near the bottom of the possible rows and columns to XEW.

Can someone let me know how to easily remove these, so I can have full access of my sheet. I can't add/delete anything, plus I've removed most formatting and formulas so that this thing will work.

    Thank you,

    RO

    Re: Memory Issue

    Hi RO,

Have you tried to delete the last few rows or columns? If you have data in the last row or column it might reset the UsedRange to what you want.

Second, look for any formulas at the bottom or right side of your worksheet. If you have them at the bottom, change the formula at the top to only range what you need instead of the whole column.

    Hope this helps.

Last, I first thought this was a "white on white" type of problem to "hide" data. Change font color to black to insure you can really see what might be in the cells.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

    Re: Memory Issue

    Afternoon,

Yes, it won't allow me to delete rows/columns. It states that I don't have the memory available to complete that task and tells me to upgrade to 64 bit..

I can't find any hidden formulas or "White on White" issues. However, when I'm trying to find this is over 1MM rows and boatloads of columns, I'm not sure it's easy to find, it's essentially crashing Excel when I try to do that.

    Thanks again,

    RO
