VBS Solution to refresh/caiculate with variable timer.

Looking for VBA solution that will refresh/calculate the worksheet, using a start-stop button, I would like to control the refresh rate time.

Why would you need a button?

If you want to control the refresh rate then Enter a value in cell A1. Use that value with the ontime function to control the refresh rate.

If you really want a button then a simple macro to to force a recalculate is all you need.

I'm looking for a certain pattern and as the workbook continually refreshes when the pattern shows I can stop the program record the data then restart the code, and adjust the refresh rate faster or slower

    Ok

    Try this example spreadsheet.

Each time it calculates the Random number changes.

Click on the Calculate Tab to Adjust the frequency of the calculation.
