minimize a userform?

I'm trying to create command button on a modeless form as a simple way of minimizing the form (and another for restore).

I know there's a way to actually have Windows minimize and restore buttons on a form, but all that messing with Windows seems to be beyond my mental powers at the moment. So. is there a way to use xlMinimized with a form (or is it only for an application)?

Yes, I know I can just tell the command button to hide the form. But I want it to be only one click away, and on all worksheets. I thought minimizing it within the window might be a nice way to do this. The only other option I can think of is to have it resize the form down to nothing but the command buttons.

thanks...
Nick

(I'm only an egg)

I think that's the best way.
Surround your VBA code with CODE tags e.g.;
your VBA code here
The # button in the forum editor will apply CODE tags around your selected text.

Thanks, Alpha. What I'm struggling with now is that when the form resizes, it does so from the top left corner. So if I put the command buttons in the top right, where we're used to seeing them, then when the form resizes the buttons are hidden. There must be a simple way to make top right be the anchor point, but I can't find anywhere where anyone talks about it. Do you know about this?

When you resize smaller the userform, move the button to the upper left.

Toggle button to minimize and Maximize a User form

Huh. It hadn't even occurred to me that you could do that. But of course, it makes perfect sense.
Thanks.
