Check for consecutive exact values in a column and merge the cells in adjacent column

Dear Forum,

I need to check whether the value in a specific column B is exact if yes the n it should merge those many number of cells in the adjacent column.
Ex: if I have the First Row as Header and in my Column B if the cell B2 and cell B3 contain the same values then the cells C2:C3 should get merged.. if there are more than 2 cells with the same value in the same column then those many cells should get merged in the adjacent column C and if the value changes then the Un-Merging should also happen.
Ex: If there were 4 cells in the Column m from B2 till B5 with the Value DOnald then the CElls C2:C5 are Merged but if i Change the value in the cells B3 then cells C2,C3 should be Un-Merged while C4:C5 would be Merged as the values are still same in the column B.
