How do you change the VBA Editor's font size when using a 4K Monitor?

My problem is using the VBA editor with a 4K screen.

Changes made in the Tools>Options>Editor Format do not take. The font size reverts to 8 upon clicking the OK button.

This does appear to be a long standing bug which is being ignored by Microsoft, surely they must be using 4K monitors somewhere in Microsoft.

Has anyone found a solution or workaround?

MS' investment in VBA these days is pretty much nil so I wouldn't hold your breath for a fix.
