Formula using variables

Hi all, I have a macro that I am trying to work on. The intent of the macro is to check the value on the active sheet against a number selected by the user. The majority is a copy and past, and the two lines around fRow were from help on this forum, with a modification to now use rng as a variable defined by the selction. I do not know how to get this to work. Any thoughts?

The reason for using a select tool is because the location varies. Thanks in advance.
