    Moving & Shading Rows Automatically

    Hi Everyone,
This post is to seek guidance excel 365.

I am a having a worksheet with 25 Columns and "n" number of rows. The sheet is meant for tracking of daily jobs of our mechanical team.
There is Column (Column Q) wherein the job completion status in %age to be mentioned.

    - I want the entire row to be shifted to end of the table automatically, once Column Q of the row is 100%. (will be filled manually)
    - Similarly I want the entire row to become with green background once the Column Q of the row is 100%.

    Please guide suitably.

    Thanks,

To move rows automatically, you will need VBA, so I am moving this to the VBA section for you.

Re: Moving & Shading Rows Automatically

I've created a workbook and implemented the conditional formatting rule, such that, all the row will turn green where Q is at 100%. The rule on all the workbook used range cells is "=$Q1=100"
Without an example of your workbook structure, it is not clear how to implement moving the rows. one way to achieve moving the rows is to sort on column Q, as in the attached workbook. Let us know if you have any questions.

    Hello,
Thanks for the reply. Attached herewith the sample excel file. Seeking your guidance on:

    1. When "100%" is entered in Column Q, entire row should be got shaded with green.
    2. Simultaneously, the green row should be moved to end of the table.

To be clear, you would like the rows to bounce below the totals in column E and turn green when Q is 100%. Do you want the line to bounce back if you undo the 100%? Like the picture?

Re: Moving & Shading Rows Automatically

Attached is a working solution for your requirements as I understand them Please note,in order give you the ability to add lines while keeping the formatting, I added a button on top called add top line. I also added an enable events button to reset the environment if you run into an error. that button will save you a lot of time when troubleshooting.
If you change the top line to have a 100% completion, you will be asked if you want to move the line. In the bottom section, if you change the percentage to be less than 100%, you will be asked if you want to move the line up into the top section.
