Macros on Quick Acess Toolbar or Ribbon

    Hi

I have a workbook that I need to distribute. I want the users to easily be able to access / run macros on the workbook. How do I set it up so that the macros can be easily accessed on the Ribbon or the Quick Access Toolbar or Ribbon 8and that when I close the workbook the acess disappears from the QAT.
I have managed to put a macro on the QAT and it works but access to the macro stays on my QAT even when I close the workbook.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

Why have you pasted text from Mr Excel? Are you trying to tell us that you have asked the same question over there? If so, thanks.

That's fine - thank you so much for having read our rules, which is something everybody should do, but hardly anyone does. Big thumbs up!

Here's the bad news: your query is very unclear, so that's probably whey you've had no answer over there and may not get one here unless you give more specific detail. What code are you using? What buttons? What is a QAT?

Rule 03: Cross-posting Without Telling Us

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without telling us about your threads on other forums.

Post a link to any other forums where you have asked the same question.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this.

I have added the crosspost reference for you today. Please comply with this and all our rules in the future

The OP had declared his cross-posting, but has since removed it. I have reinstated it in the opening post.
