    How To Create Custom Word Documents From Excel WITHOUT Mail Merge

    Dear Excel Forum,
    Greetings,

    I saw a video on youtube titled How To Create Custom Word Documents From Excel WITHOUT Mail Merge

    I would like to have the template (attached) to be slightly changed.
    instead of email and print, I would like to have the documents to be saved in a folder.

    your assistance would be highly appreciated

    Why do you not want to use MSWord Mail Merge? but still create custom documents in Word?

    MailMerge sends the document. however, I would like to save them. in advance since i dont need to send all letters at once

    Mailmerge does NOT 'send' the document anywhere unless you tell it to merge to email or printer. Otherwise, it merely creates a new document. If you want to save the individual letters, see:
    Send Mailmerge Output to Individual Files; and/or
    Run a Mailmerge from Excel, Sending the Output to Individual Files,
