Toggle Button to Activate/Deactivate a sheet

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a macros that will use a toggle button and activate a sheet when pushed on and deactivate the sheet and make the tab disappear when pushed off. I have been looking all over the internet for ways to do this, but have not found a solution.

    Thank you,

    Addie

more than likely, you'll have to put the button on a sheet that will not be subject to the appearing and disappearing. but, you know, there is a difference between activate and hide when it comes to doing that to worksheets.

can you give any more details. It literally sounds like the code would be this simple:

Re: Toggle Button to Activate/Deactivate a sheet

    Hi there,

Just a comment rather than a solution

If a button such as this is to be a single button (as opposed to a "Hide" button on the worksheet to be hidden and a "Show" button somewhere else):

a toggle button and activate a sheet when pushed on and deactivate the sheet and make the tab disappear when pushed off

it's not very practical to place it on a worksheet, because you will always need to return to that worksheet in order to hide the worksheet which needs to be hidden.

To maximise the convenience of having such a button it should be located on the Quick Access Toolbar, where it will appear regardless of which (or indeed any!) workbook is open. Alternatively, it should be located on the Ribbon, where it will appear only when the workbook in question is open.

As I said, just a comment

    Regards,

    Greg M
