I'm fairly new at VBA and haven't messed with any window manipulation yet, so I was hoping someone here has a quick solution to what I'm trying to accomplish. We currently have a full list of instructions for our users to go through setting up a workbook upon opening that I would prefer to automate:
Under the view tab, in the Window group, click "New Window."
Then select "Arrange All" and choose "Vertical"
On Book2 - 1 - Excel, under the view tab, in the Window group, click Split.
- Make sure Sheet1 is selected
- Drag the vertical split off the right side of the window and out of the way.
- Drag the horizontal split to show just the header in the top section.
On Book2 - 2 - Excel, Select Sheet2 and click on the cell under "List"
I am attaching a macro-free spreadsheet to see what our header and sheets look like. There's probably a better way to go about this than telling the workbook to do these specific things, but this will tie in with the existing, validated macros exceptionally well, if we can work it out. I appreciate any help you can provide!
