create/position command button to first empty cell in column on workbook open

I am having trouble getting the button to center correctly over the cell desired.

On work book open i would like to have a command button created and centered over first empty cell in above mentioned range.

that's not practical. creating controls in excel with code is not a standard practice. can't you do it by clicking buttons? why the automation?

furthermore, the declaration of the code routine for getting something to happen when the book opens, is this, put in the ""workbook"" module in the VBA editor:
