Command Button Text Resizing, or Command Button Resizing

So I have started recently having an issue, every time I click a command button on my sheets it resizes the text (constantly reducing the caption until it can't be read)... and I can't seem to change the size so it is again legible. Either updating through properties has no effect, or trying to put coding in to change the font text when clicking the button.

Some of the buttons even resize, sometimes it resizes (oversizes) when clicking on it, but when I click elsewhere it reverts to normal size. Except one button where it resized way too large, and when manually changing the properties to match the other button dimensions... it doesn't equal to the other button dimensions.

I think I put an attachment on here that shows one of the sheets in question (not the entire workbook because it is too large otherwise) that has the most command buttons which are all being broken.

Any ideas or suggestions outside of recreating all the buttons again???

Okay, that's weird. Closing down all of Excel, restarting computer, changing the width on the buttons, then changing the text worked. Couldn't change text size until changing button width from 250 to 260. The what?

You're better off not using ActiveX controls on worksheets at all. They're incredibly unstable have a look here https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourc...eet%20controls and by using them, you're asking for trouble.

Forms controls are much more reliable - they're in the same dropdown as the ActiveX ones, but are designed for use on worksheets - so you don't run into any stability issues, you can do most of the same things with them too and you can use them without using code.
